Zoe Davidson DVM, MRCVS Primary Clinic: Menlo Park When her older brother was a baby, Zoe’s parents moved from England to California for her Dad’s job. So Zoe, born in Redwood City and raised in Half Moon Bay, is the only “American” in her English family. She started horseback riding at age 6, growing up riding both Western Pleasure and English. After a stint at Barrel Racing, she says she “got more disciplined” and switched over to Dressage and Hunter Jumper, getting her thrills from jumping and galloping on the trails. After achieving a B.Sc. in Animal Biology from U.C. Davis, Dr. Davidson earned her DVM at Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She decided to pursue a career as an equine veterinarian because she enjoys using science to provide care for the horses that give such happiness, comfort, and joy to the human population — and she also loves working outdoors. Upon completing her veterinary credential, she worked for two years at Tyrrells Equine in Cambridge, England, delivering dental, general practice, and preventive medicine across five different counties. Her particular areas of interest are general practice, dentistry, preventive, and emergency medicine. She believes strongly in educating clients and empowering them to provide the best care for their horses. While at U.C. Davis, Zoe played on the Division I Women’s Tennis Team. She’s now a competitive runner and swimmer, and also enjoys floral design in her spare time. > Back to Veterinarians...
