Intern and Resident Alumni

In addition to Residencies in various equine veterinary specialties, Steinbeck Peninsula Equine Clinics offers recent graduates from many different schools of veterinary medicine the opportunity to work as Interns. These young interns are fully licensed veterinarians who choose to spend one year working with our staff in an educational setting, going through intense advanced training; refining and deepening their diagnostic, surgical and technical skills; and gaining valuable insights into equine medical practice in general. At the end of their internship year, our alumni have gone on to work in various clinics (with quite a few joining us at Steinbeck), pursue specialties, and/or build their own independent practices. Learn more…
