Our state-of-the-art hospitals, outpatient clinics and mobile services offer preventive, diagnostic, therapeutic and treatment protocols including medicine and surgery, as well as complementary and alternative modalities. HOSPITALS
Our hospitals are among the finest equine healthcare facilities in the nation, equipped with state-of-the-art surgical suites and diagnostic technology. Surgeons and anesthetists are always on-call for emergency surgeries. Open 24/7 – 365 days/year, we provide round-the-clock care tailored to each patient's individual needs. Veterinarians are on-site at all times to oversee in-patient horses, with devices allowing our staff to monitor our hospitalized patients’ vital signs 24/7 in real-time from any work computer, so we can respond immediately to any changes in your horse’s status.
With 4 intensive care stalls, an isolation stall, 10 box stalls, 8 paddocks, 10 mare-barn stalls and a neo-natal intensive care unit, our Salinas facility can accommodate over 30 hospitalized horses. Our Menlo Park facility has 10 box stalls, including two climate-controlled stalls and closed circuit camera monitoring.
OUTPATIENT CLINICS
Our outpatient clinics allow us to treat horses in a controlled environment and send them home the same day. Ideal for minimally or non-invasive procedures, our clinics offer added safety and equipment not available in the field. Outpatient services include complex dental procedures, laser mass removals and other standing surgeries, as well as diagnostics that are difficult or impossible to perform in the field.
Pre-purchase and lameness exams are often performed at our clinic to take advantage of the even, soft and firm footing, level ground and a reliable power source for taking high-quality radiographs. A pre-purchase exams at one of our clinics also gives clients the opportunity to evaluate the temperament of the horse in a novel environment.
MOBILE SERVICES
Our mobile services include pre-purchase exams, preventive care, diagnostic procedures, alternative therapies, minor surgeries, dentistry and emergency treatments. Our veterinarians bring their knowledge and experience, along with the latest diagnostic and therapeutic tools, directly to the patient — at home or in the field.
