Lulu Sieling

Veterinary Assistant

Primary Location: Menlo Park

Lulu grew up on her family’s ranch in the Los Angeles area. When she was 9, she competed in her first 25-mile endurance race with her parents, on her horse Ricco. A few years later, she taught Ricco how to jump and soon fell into the world of Eventing, competing up to the preliminary level in high school.

While earning her BS in Animal Science at UC Davis, Lulu rode on the 3-Day Eventing team, worked as a technician at the UC Davis Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital in both the large animal general patient and ICU units, and also found time to begin training OTTBs. She went on to graduate from the Royal Veterinary College in London, England with an MS in Veterinary Epidemiology; plans to apply to veterinary school soon; and will eventually specialize in equine sports medicine, chiropractic, and acupuncture.

On the weekends, Lulu now rides her friends’ horses for fun and visits her retired horse, Ricco, and her retired mule, Bella. She enjoys visiting family in Montana and Minnesota, living in the city, going on hikes, and having picnics in the park with friends.
