Alyssa Matthews

Alyssa was born and raised in the small town of Warren, PA. She attended college and graduate school on the east coast, then relocated to Monterey when her husband was stationed here. She rode hunter/jumpers growing up and always had an interest in biology, so working in the veterinary field seemed inevitable. She enjoys the daily variety working as a technician, going out on ambulatory calls and being in surgery. When she is not working Alyssa enjoys traveling, hiking, volunteering with wildlife rescues, and performing in musicals.
