Savana Martinez
Salinas Office Team

Savana grew up in Carmel Valley. When she was 8 years old, she started riding at a local ranch, where there were 14 horses. She learned to ride both Western and English, including Dressage. Savana credits her “heart horse” Netuno (who passed away several years ago) with igniting her passion for horses.

Savana attended Monterey Peninsula College (MPC) to gain prerequisites for Nursing school. She has earned a Phlebotomy Technician certification and is continuing to pursue her Nursing ambitions with course work at California State University Monterey Bay (CSUMB) and Cabrillo College.  While she has planned to make human health care her lifetime career, she has always had a strong interest in horses and animals. By working at Steinbeck Peninsula Equine Clinics — her first job at a veterinary clinic — Savana is hoping to discover whether she should consider a course adjustment to equine medicine.

After having lived in Pebble Beach and Marina, Savana now lives in South Salinas with her fiancé and their Miniature Schnauzer, Maverick.  When not working, Savana enjoys spending time with her fiancé and her family. She loves being outdoors, adores the beach, likes to hike, and enjoys trying new food spots.
