Nelita was born and raised in Monterey County. She completed the Animal Health Technology program at Hartnell College in Salinas and has over 17 years experience in small animal medicine with a special interest in management. Nelita has a passion for veterinary medicine and is very excited to join the SPEC team to be able to utilize her knowledge of small animal management and bring it to the equine side of the veterinary world. 

 

In her free time, Nelita utilizes her manicuring degree and enjoys crafting. She also loves spending time with her companion Thanh, her son Austin, and their rambunctious French bulldog Fernando.
