George Kuesis
DVM
Primary Location: Salinas
Intern
George hails from Goleta, California, on the coast in southern Santa Barbara County. Both of his parents are veterinarians (dad equine and mom small animal), so George grew up with veterinary medicine and has always had a love for horses.
George attended U.C. Davis, where he played collegiate water polo and graduated with a BS in Animal Science with an equine emphasis. He worked at the U.C. Davis Veterinary Medicine Teaching Hospital as a technician, as well as at his father’s practice, Mission Equine Associates. He earned his DVM from Western University of Health Sciences College of Veterinary Medicine.
George shares his life with Ziggy and Marble, a couple of rescue cats, but alas, no horses ... yet. When not working George loves being outside surfing, skiing, hiking, or running.
