Dr. Hailey Everett grew up on a family farm in Soquel, California, helping care for goats and chickens, and farming fruits and vegetables. She developed a passion for horses at a young age, riding Hunter-Jumper and spending every spare moment at the barn. She competed in IEA and ISHA, and has also spent time riding gymkhana and starting a colt with Richard Winters. 

 

Her passion for horses led Hailey to pursue a degree in Animal Sciences at the University of Vermont and then earn her veterinary degree from Purdue University. Dr. Everett is also certified in Equine Acupuncture. Her professional interests also include high-quality wellness care, internal medicine, and emergency medicine.

 

After completing her DVM, Hailey moved back to the Santa Cruz area to be closer to family and the coast. In her spare time, Hailey enjoys surfing, hiking, and spending time with her dog, Moose.
