Jenelle Kamian

Veterinary Assistant

Primary Location: Menlo Park

Jenelle started riding at the age of thirteen in the Santa Cruz area. Her love of horses started when her aunt introduced her to the horses she kept in her backyard in Larkin Valley. Soon after she started taking hunter jumper lessons and competed in local shows with the horse she leased, Clancy.

Jenelle took a brief break from riding while she attended California State University, Chico and earned her Bachelors degree in Communication Studies. One week after graduating, Jenelle moved to Yosemite National Park and was a trail guide for the summer season. While working in the park, she most enjoyed working with the mules and exploring miles of trails on horseback. Jenelle joined the Peninsula Equine team in 2017.

Jenelle loves that she learns something new everyday and that this new knowledge directly contributes to her being a better horsewoman.
