Alyssa Maniscalco

Alyssa grew up mostly in California but has also lived in Montana and Texas. When her family moved to Salinas, she started volunteering for an organization called Hope, Horses, and Kids where she learned how to handle and care for horses, as well as improving her communication skills. She started working as a veterinary assistant right after graduating from Salinas High School. Alyssa says she adores working at Steinbeck Peninsula Equine Clinics, will learn a lot from the job, and feels very grateful for this opportunity. She plans to become a Registered Veterinary Technician in the future.

Alyssa currently has a Pit Bull named Bella who she describes as the sweetest dog she could ask for. She would like to own her own horse, down the road. Alyssa enjoys traveling and would one day like to visit all the U.S. National Parks and Monuments. She also has a very artistic side and likes to draw and decorate in her free time.
