Jesse grew up in American Canyon, California.
She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife and Wildlands Conservation from Brigham Young University and went on to Oklahoma State University for veterinary school. She was the 2019 recipient of both the Dean Clarence H. McElroy Award, the highest honor that can be bestowed upon a graduate from the OSU Center for Veterinary Health Sciences, and the Gentle Doctor Award. She was also recognized for her clinical proficiency in Large Animal Surgery from the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. Her professional interests include surgery, cardiology and emergency medicine.
Outside of work, Jesse loves spending time with her family and enjoying the outdoors.
